♦ 3 Years of experience teaching in the U.S. and Vietnam

Mr. Ben grew up in Washington, D.C. He went on to University in South Carolina at Clemson University. At Clemson he gained an interest in Education through conducting research within the Psychology department. Additionally, he helped create, implement, and assist in the teaching of an introductory university course.

Along with education, Mr. Ben has a passion for coaching and athletics. He has played and coached numerous sports. He began his coaching career in high school with a youth Basketball team. He went on to coach in different capacities within several sports at the youth, high school, and university level.

After graduating from university, Mr. Ben decided that he wanted to travel and see the world. Shortly after choosing to pursue a career in teaching and traveling, he moved and began his teaching career in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. Mr. Ben has gained experience teaching a wide-range of skill levels, subjects and topics, ages, and in varied environments.

In his free time, Mr. Ben enjoys playing and watching sports, hanging out with friends, and traveling. He is looking forward to his first year of teaching at FIS.
