On August 2nd, FOSCO International School capped off its Summer School Program with some shopping followed by some cooking. Some students attended the event wearing chef hats, excited and animated to explore Mr. Nick’s Mini-Mart.
We started the event with some announcements from Mr. Nick and presentation of our weekly superstars. Subsequently, students used FOSCO money to make purchases at Mr. Nick’s Mini-Mart to help their class gather ingredients to cook a food item(s) with teachers/classmates. Classes prepared strawberry smoothies, chocolate sandwiches, carrot apple salad, sushi and custard flan.
Students seemed to really enjoy cooking. I would not be surprised if we have some future chefs here at FIS !
